I kept up with a blog when I was in China for a while (2006 - 2008), but after a while the Chinese government blocked xanga and after that, I forgot mostly about it.
I have decided to start this blog to keep up write about the messiness of life. Life is good, but it is rarely neat and tidy. As a Christian, I find rest when I am with others - living in community - and in communion with Christ.... though what that looks like and feels like seems like it changes the more I grow and change.
I plan on using this blog to talk about life for me: daughter, friend, sister, employee, volunteer, runner, questioner, dreamer, thinker, traveler.... Life can be demanding and sometimes overwhelming, but I truly believe that within the context of Christ and other people, we can be victorious.
I hope to use this space to think, dream, question, argue.... about things that matter and things that don't. I look forward to tackling politics, religion, and culture and I doubt that I will be squarely pegged into any particular box that you might think. So, follow me and anticipate some great conversation!
